Jason Dickey
Firefighter Jason Dickey, age 38, died in the line of duty on February 12, 2018, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Firefighter Dickey was a member of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department. He had 11 years of service.

Lawrenceburg is a city with a population of just under 15,000. It is located 80 miles southwest of Nashville.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m., Jason and other firefighters were fighting a fire at a two-storey house in Lawrenceburg. At about 8:00 p.m., the structure started to collapse, trapping Jason and several other firefighters.

Jason was rushed to a local hospital where, tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.

The other firefighters involved in the collapse were injured but survived.
Florian, Patron Saint of
Firefighters, pray for Jason
