Charlie K. - A Good Samaritan in New Jersey

Charlie K.
On November 24, 2017, a man went into a Toys R US store in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Charlie K. was shopping for some gifts for his son.

While there, Charlie decided to also pay for over 60 orders for toys that strangers had put on the layaway plan at the store.

The total that Charlie paid for others came to $10,780. He also donated another $2,000. towards the Toys for Tots program.

The Toys for Tots program was established by the United States Marine Corps Reserve to collect and distribute toys at Christmas to less fortunate children in the community.

Several customers arrived at the store to pay for their layaway toy orders and were told that the bill had been paid by Charlie. The customers were extremely grateful.

When asked why he was doing this, Charlie responded. “I’m trying to bring some happiness to people, to the community that brought happiness to me and my family. I love this community, and I am trying to provide back to it.”

Charlie K. is a Good Samaritan.

Good Samaritans are the everyday heroes of the modern era.

God bless Charlie K. and all who are generous in spirit. Amen.
