Eric Houck, William Bays, Dillon Baldridge - U.S. Military Fatalities - Afghanistan

Sgt. Eric M. Houck, age 25, of Baltimore, Maryland; Sgt. William M. Bays, age 29 of Barstow, California; and Corporal Dillon C. Baldridge, age 22 of Youngsville, North Carolina, died in the line of duty on June 10, 2017, in Peka Valley, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan.

These men were assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 3rd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Company D, 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. 

These men were serving in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel which is the U.S. military action against terrorism in Afghanistan.

It has been reported that the man who shot Eric, William and Dillon was a renegade member of the Afghan National Army’s Commando Forces. He too was killed in the

The military comrades of Eric, William and Dillon are in mourning over the death of their young brothers. They died in the service of their country. They will be forever remembered as heroes.

The loved ones of these brave men are devastated over their sudden and tragic deaths. They were loving and were greatly loved in return. They will be forever mourned.

Oceans of tears have been shed for Eric, for William and for Dillon.

Pray for all who die in a foreign land, far from their loved ones.

Pray for all who die young.

Pray that Eric, William and Dillon are in Heaven. Pray that they are at peace and are with God. Amen.
