Jennie Stone - killed in a car crash in England - a double tragedy

Jennie Stone, age 28, from Bridlington, England, died on February 18, 2013, at Fraisthorpe, East Yorkshire.
Jennie Stone

She had just dropped her son off at school. She died after her car collided with another vehicle before hitting a tree. Police believe that Jennie's car and another were travelling in the same direction while they were both attempting to overtake a lorry (a truck), resulting in this tragic accident. The other driver involved in the accident survived uninjured.

Jennie's death is tragedy enough but..... on June 3, 2012, her brother, Gregg Stone, age 20, a British soldier, died in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, while on a mission. He was shot by insurgents.

Gregg was a member of the 3rd Battalion Yorkshire Regiment.

Jennie was due to graduate in September of 2013 from the University of Hull with a degree in social work.

Family members describe her as a good mother and a well-loved daughter.

Jennie's family are devastated and heart-broken. They haven't gotten over the death of Gregg.

Her partner, Dave said: "Jen was my soulmate. She made me laugh and she completed my life. I love her so much and I feel half of me is missing now. Me and Charlie will keep going and support each other with lots of help from Jen’s family and my daughter Danielle. I will love my Jen forever."

Jennie is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her parents, Angie and Bob Stone; her brothers, Kallum and Jamie: her sister, Rosie-Ann; her son, Charlie (age 9) and her partner, Dave Parker.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and gone the next. Amen.
Light a candle for Jennie and for
Gregg.  Light their way to Heaven.

Pray for mercy for this family. They have suffered enough.  Amen.

Let us pray that Jennie Stone is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
